Hey, all. Well, at long last, after having my resumes thoroughly ignored by some of the finest hospitals in Chicago, I finally got a job.

I'll be doing home health with an outfit in Des Plaines, but visiting patients all over god's green earth.

Kinda like what I've been doing for decades, but....not.

On another note: Is anyone even reading this bulletin board anymore? Or have we all migrated to Facebook?
The last time anyone posted was 16 weeks ago.

Hello again!

Just wanted to share with you that last night I worked my LAST SHIFT as a tech in the ER. The next time I go back to work at the hospital I will be walking in as a REGISTERED NURSE! It might seem cheesy, but I can't help being excited. And scared, too. I will have to write again sometime after the first few weeks and let you know how it's going. Best wishes to all!

P.S. I think I'm going to have a scrub burning ceremony out in my yard! My navy scrubs (the ones I used as a tech) are going into the FLAMES, never to be worn again! =)
